The Manager, Human Resources will work collaboratively with members of 香港六合彩中特网’s Leadership Team in the effective implementation and management of human resources functions and best practices.
The Manager, Human Resources will take an active role in day-to-day human resources (HR) matters while actively participating in the development and implementation of human resources goals and operating plans. The incumbent will also work with the Principal to design, establish, and maintain an effective organizational structure and staffing complement that supports the requirements of the school. As the sole HR practitioner in the school, the Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for all facets of the Human Resources function.
The incumbent will play an integral role in championing initiatives that support 香港六合彩中特网’s talent strategy and foster a collaborative, engaged and high-performing culture.

The Position
Working with the school’s Leadership Team, the Manager, Human Resources will:
A. HR Processes & Employment Policies:
Regularly analyze the effectiveness of HR policies on the school’s operations and make recommendations accordingly
Seek ways to improve and automate HR processes, creating organization-wide efficiencies
Review and revise the employment policies annually, communicate these to staff regularly
Liaise with staff in leadership roles on a regular basis to ensure organization policies are understood and followed
Stay informed of competitive management practices and new developments, ensuring that 香港六合彩中特网’s human resources policies and programs effectively attract and retain highly diverse employees while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Coordinate and oversee the organization’s Joint Health and Safety Committee
B. Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage and administer the full recruitment cycle, including contract negotiations and follow up with unsuccessful candidates, ensuring exemplary experiences
Contribute to the onboarding and orientation processes for new teachers
Oversee and facilitate the onboarding process for new operations staff
C. Employee Relations:
Provide leadership, counsel and expertise on HR matters
Provide direction and guidance on employee relations issues such as professional conduct, compliance and workplace safety
Coordinate staff leaves of absence
Provide staff with a place to raise questions and concerns
Facilitate staff performance management
Oversee, analyze and report on HR data (e.g. employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, etc)
Propose and support employee engagement, satisfaction and retention initiatives
Champion new and existing health, safety and well-being initiatives for staff
D. Training and Development:
Work with school leaders to identify training needs and implement growth opportunities for staff at all levels
Design, facilitate and evaluate training and development initiatives for staff, both for groups and individuals as well as formal and informal (e.g. time management, workload management, stress management, conflict resolution, middle-management training, etc.)
Qualifications and Personal Characteristics
Postsecondary degree and/or certificate in Human Resources Management
5+ years of progressively senior Human Resources Generalist experience across multiple human resources disciplines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including group facilitation capability
Strong organizational skills
Action-oriented, readily takes initiative
Strong technical knowledge of Talent Strategy and human resources practices and proven commitment to staying current with legislation changes and best practices
Commitment to employee development
Sound judgement
Highly effective interpersonal skills
Tact and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters
